What is a buyer alert?
Masterbuildafrica features a Buyer Alert service that notifies suppliers whenever a
potential buyer shows interest in their products or services. This feature helps suppliers
better meet market demands and streamlines the procurement process.
How to know when a supplier has responded to my request?
Every response from prospective supplier will be saved under ‘my request’ tab in your
masterbuildafrica account.
How long does the alert stays open?
You can choose a validity period between 1 and 7 days for you request to remain visible
to prospective suppliers
How will interested suppliers contact me?
You will be contacted using the masterbuildafrica messaging service. Every response
from prospective supplier will be saved under ‘my request’ tab in your masterbuildafrica
account.
How many alerts can I send?
You can send as many alerts as you want.
How much is a buyer alert?
The buyer alert service is free to buyers.
How to create an account / How to login/register
Create an account by registering on the website. Select ‘list as buyer’ if you are looking
for suppliers or service providers. Select buyer alert when prompted to do so and select
a validity period you want the alert to stay open.
Select ‘list company’ after creating an account if you are listing a company. Fill in the
company information and select a valid category for your company.
Choose to subscribe to the buyer alert service and defer to a later time.
How to create effective buyer alerts
Select a category that best represent what you are looking for. Write a short description
and add an image of what you are looking for to help the prospective supplier
understand what you need.
Choose a validity period to notify prospective suppliers.

How to list a company?
Create an account by registering on the website. Select ‘list company’ after creating an
account. Fill in the required company information, select the valid categories for your
company and upload a company logo.
Choose to subscribe to the buyer alert service and receive notification from potential
buyer who shows interest in your products or services. You may also choose to defer
subscribing for the service to a later time.
How do I get notified of a buyer alert?
If you are subscribed to the masterbuildafrica buyer alert service, the masterbuildafrica
notification service will send an email to you each time a potential buyer shows interest
in your products or services. The notification is also available in your account profile
under the ‘notification’ tab.
How much is it to subscribe for a buyer alert?
The price varies depending on the catergogy. Refer to the price list.
What is the minimum duration of a subscribed category.
Minimum duration is 3months.
Can I pay for multiple categories?
Yes. You can subscribe for and pay for multiple categories
