Construction work has commenced at the Grosvenor Square designed by Tim Hughes. Located at the Century City in Cape Town, the US$10.95m worth office park will target small and medium tenants.
With an area of 5364m2, the project will comprise of five buildings of A-grade low rise offices. These will be located around a picturesque courtyard, giving buyers flexible options for the spaces, ranging from 90 to 2000m2.
About 170 basement parking bays and 30 open parking bays on a ratio of 4 : 100m² would be set up, with units sold at a cost of US $2,005.86 (parking space and tenant installation inclusive). The building is bordered by two distinct roads: Century Boulevard and Century Way, making it a high visibility site.
According to the Project Manager for Rabie Property Group Kutlwano Rasodi, Grosvenor Square is being built with the aim of meeting the demand for space in the fast growing region. The construction project is under the supervision of Murray $ Roberts and is expected to be completed by September 2015.
