Proposal for Casablanca Anfa released

Posted on

The proposal for Casablanca Anfa residential complex in Morocco has been presented by Herreros Architects from Madrid. The program of this project includes: housing, shops and small sports facilities (swimming pool and gym for residents). The structure of the project is the result of a set of volumetrics adopted by architects. The ground floor and intermediate floors are devoted to “Villas-gardens,” and  “urban housing” respectively. The volume, a set of spaces and covered terraces are created to provide additional features to housing.

The project is set to create prototypes of “riads”(traditional Moroccan house with an interior garden or courtyard). The gardens which follow the Arab-Andalusian  garden style are hidden and revealed at the same time by the cross visibility offered by the building.
