ANGOLA: Construction of new ring road in Lubango unveiled

On Tuesday this week, the Provincial Governor of Huila Province João Marcelino Tyipinge launched the construction of a 26 km ring road in Lubango.

Estimated to cost US$ 0.04bn, the new road construction project will facilitate the connection between the urban city of Quilemba and Eywa. The road which will be nine meter wide and 26 km long will be constructed within 18 months. Other structures scheduled for set up include: a concrete layer, placement of edges, bridges and asphalt.

In addition to this road construction project, the public programmes fund is constructing 200 residential houses in Eywa town, and another 11,000 houses in Quilemba.
