Ogun state government in collaboration with Urbanisma- a Malaysian consulting firm presents the Abeokuta City Centre. Located in the Western part of Nigeria, the state is set to house the 60-storey skyscraper.
According to Daniel Adejobi- the Commissioner for Housing in the state, “the City Centre would be a focus of attention that would attract local and foreign investors. Also, different business units such as: shopping malls, hotels and relaxation centres would be situated under separated buildings”.
Mr Mohammed Afeez, the Urban Designer and Project Director of the proposed Abeokuta City Centre said the master plan of the project has already been finalized. According to him, there will be adjoining structures which will redefine the landscape of the capital city. Other structures expected on the land include: an office complex, hotels and a world class convention centre.
